  • Property Information (Hosts): Information Hosts provide about their properties, including descriptions, photos, location details, pricing, and availability.
  • Guest Information (Guests): When Guests make a booking request through a Host's Property Page, Hosts collect information necessary for the booking, such as the Guest's name, email address, and phone number. This information is primarily managed by the Host. Guestdoors may have incidental access to this data as part of providing the Service, but does not use it directly.
  • Usage Data: Information automatically collected when you access the Service, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Service. This may be collected via cookies or similar technologies.
  • Analytics Data: We use third-party analytics services like Google Analytics to collect, monitor, and analyze usage patterns to improve our Service.
  • Financial Data (Stripe): All payment processing for Host subscriptions and Guest bookings (when paid upfront) is handled by Stripe. We do not collect or store full payment card details. Hosts connect their Stripe accounts directly, and Guests provide payment information directly to Stripe. We may receive transaction confirmations or information related to payment status from Stripe.

2. How We Use Your Information

Having accurate information permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Service to:

  • Create and manage your Host Account.
  • Operate and maintain the Service.
  • Process Host subscription payments through Stripe.
  • Facilitate bookings between Hosts and Guests.
  • Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Service (using tools like Google Analytics and LogRocket).
  • Diagnose and fix technology problems (using LogRocket).
  • Communicate with you regarding your account or the Service.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

  • With Hosts/Guests: Information necessary to facilitate a booking (like Guest name and contact details) is shared with the respective Host. Information provided by the Host on their Property Page is publicly visible to Guests accessing the link.

We are not responsible for the actions of third parties with whom you share personal or sensitive data, and we have no authority to manage or control third-party solicitations. If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails or other communications from third parties, you are responsible for contacting the third party directly.

We may use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and other tracking technologies on the Service to help customize the Service and improve your experience.
